As we previously reported, the Contra Costa Office of the Sheriff is investigating the discovery of two bodies found inside a home in unincorporated Martinez.

On Tuesday, December 3 at about 10:43 a.m., Muir Station Deputy Sheriffs assisted the Martinez Police Department regarding an investigation of a missing person.

The investigation led them to the 2400 block of Monterey Avenue in unincorporated Martinez. Deputy Sheriffs and Martinez Police Officers entered a residence and found a deceased female. While clearing the residence, the Deputies and Officers located a deceased man in a room.

The Forensic Services Division Crime Lab responded to the scene along with detectives.

The two are identified as:

  • Daywa Arakozie, a 34-year-old woman from Oakley
  • Montai Glaspie, a 31-year-old man from Bay Point

Detectives say the two were in a relationship and that this appears to be a murder-suicide.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with any information on this case is asked to contact the Office of the Sheriff at (925) 646-2441 or Investigation Division at (925) 313-2600. For any tips, email: tips@so.cccounty.us or call (866) 846-3592 to leave an anonymous voice message.

That might be why she killed him.

WTH?? He was arrested for murder before? And he’s in the streets ten years later? SMH

Thanks Prop 45/57 !

Surprise to you? California voters get what the get. This is the result of idiotic politics. Buckle up. It’s only going to get worse until the California electorate wakes up.

Uhh, according to the link provided by above, he was previously ARRESTED for murder. Do you have further information on charges filed, conviction, acquittal, etc?

Rollo,
He probably felt disrespected when arrested, or they didn’t want to contribute to more negative stereotypes or they are trying to keep a balanced percentage of all races in prison.
Protection of Criminals is more important than protecting the ones who pay their paychecks.

Where is this? I use to live at 2485 monterey ave.

That damn dispensary is already causing problems !

You are kidding right?

I just heard the City Council meeting, it sounds like it’s a done deal.
I still say that it needs to be on Howe or Pacheco /Arthur.
