As we previously reported, Concord Police were investigating a shooting on Robin Lane on Wednesday just after 5 p.m.
Police released an update today, saying the 45-year-old victim has died.
Further investigation revealed the victim and suspect were in a verbal altercation just prior to the shooting, but it is unknown if they knew each other. After the argument, the victim was driving his vehicle on Robin Lane when the suspect shot at him from the sidewalk.
The suspect and firearm used in the crime are still outstanding.
