RANDOM TASK November 4, 2019 - 5:42 PM - 5:42 PM

Come together and Work on the complex problem
What the
Are we trying to build a space ship
Complex problem

Hey it was easily done by politicians and voters
They accepted the sanctuary vernacular
What you thought a global metropolis of unity and European flare was going to sprout up and envelope us in a bubble of care free nostalgia lol.

Think for a second how communist socialism works
The top has control and you have to work for everyone lol
Those who don’t work or refuse or decided to abstain or
were the ones who lost out to illegals as the politicians As they were housed in all of the low income housing and left actual citizens to the streets

Either way and campfire meeting about the Complex problem is not going to solve anything but let me guess …some one is going to cry out for more taxes to fix it right

Yeah create the problem and force taxes down out throats
Democrat politicians hand book in full swing
So when the dems counted the homeless for their federal money greedfall
Did they bother to ask why or how they are on the streets
Now that would be a fruitful paper to read

But probably not because they just lump anyone on the street into a single category to get that fed money

I feel sorry for Martinez they have to live near the refineries and toil with the stench and constant blow offs and chemicals in the air for lifetimes

Now the politicians are using the city like a sponge to soak up all the street people

As newscum looks to burden us with more and now make us pay for more so called low income housing all the while they will be putting up more illegals in these and again cry for more money …rinse repeat

This is what you wanted
Enjoy it
Ahhhh eden utopia bliss
Someone left the barn door open again

Dude November 4, 2019 - 9:56 PM - 9:56 PM

“What, you thought a global metropolis of unity and European flare was going to sprout up and envelope us in a bubble of care free nostalgia lol.”

So… Europe’s ideas are good?

“Think for a second how communist socialism works
The top has control and you have to work for everyone lol”

How does the system you support work?
What is that system called?

“Yeah create the problem and force taxes down out throats
Democrat politicians hand book in full swing”

Democrats created homelessness?
I agree, there are lots of taxes and I could find better ways of spending that money, but I hate ALL politicians.

Your hatred of democrats is obvious to any person that can read and infer…
Who do you think should be running the circus?

Dude November 5, 2019 - 10:13 PM - 10:13 PM

Good evening Rob,
I think you missed the point of my comment.
I could be wrong.
“communist-socialist” is an interesting term. I think you’re right, I don’t know what that means. Would you please tell me.
While you’re at it, I don’t understand the free market system either.
I will note, despite several diatribes by random task on claycord (yet another one in this forum) no comment on this one reply

S November 4, 2019 - 5:54 PM - 5:54 PM

Step # 1: provide nothing.

Am I the only one who’s seen the “Field of Dreams”?

The Wizard November 4, 2019 - 6:01 PM - 6:01 PM

I’ll help them out of town.

Kenji November 4, 2019 - 7:27 PM - 7:27 PM

If every town helps them out of town, they will not evaporate.

martinezdad November 4, 2019 - 6:55 PM - 6:55 PM

Let me guess … allocate more money to the giant bottomless pit and only yield more homeless people

Mtz Guy November 4, 2019 - 8:38 PM - 8:38 PM

You got that right! Run those bums outa town!

jon November 4, 2019 - 7:09 PM - 7:09 PM

Find out each ones closest relative or friend out of state.Give them all a fee bus ticket. You cant reason with Martinez,a town that doesn’t allow you to park in front of your own house for 3 days in a row.Awful city to live in.

Anon November 5, 2019 - 9:50 AM - 9:50 AM

What do you expect from a Sanctuary city…

Bay resident November 4, 2019 - 7:51 PM - 7:51 PM

Lol.

The city of martinez has no idea what it is doing.

All of these cities and towns need to come to terms with the law of diminishing returns, at a certain point throwing more people or MONEY at the problem doesn’t work.

I’m not saying I have the answer, but lowering taxes (the quickest way to put money directly into people’s pockets) would go a long way to easing everyone’s burden. Let people (and their families) help themselves, that’s how this countries as built..it’s not complicated.

Dude November 4, 2019 - 10:15 PM - 10:15 PM

You’re funny.
Taxes are not the problem, they literally build countries.
Here is the problem…
The capitalistic corporate structure has infected every aspect of our society/lives. Every governing body in every city is run like a business according to the capitalist corporate ideology.
Open your eyes!

Gittyup November 5, 2019 - 1:07 AM - 1:07 AM

@Dude Having worked for the State of California and a couple of federal government agencies, I can tell you without reservation they are not “run like a business according to the capitalist corporate ideology.” There are no capitalistic money-making strategies involved. They are strictly money-spending endeavors … your money.

Dude November 5, 2019 - 8:54 AM - 8:54 AM

Gittyup,
O.K.
Have a great day.

Bay Resident November 5, 2019 - 10:09 AM - 10:09 AM

@dude

You’re funny. Last time I checked taxes aren’t what the colonists used to build the homes, they built em from scratch on their own.

Taxes are very much the problem. Add up the percentages on your own, see how much you are taxed (sales tax, income tax, gas tax, plastic bag tax etc..etc..)

Deny it all you want but the quickest way to put more money in peoples pockets is to take less out of their paycheck, not more programs.

And the government is not run like a business, lmao. It is run by people who have no accountability who spend other people’s money with no risk of consequences.

Dude November 5, 2019 - 9:44 PM - 9:44 PM

Thank you Bay Resident.
Have a great day.

Dude November 4, 2019 - 9:38 PM - 9:38 PM

Fed Up
Best comment ever!

RANDOM TASK November 5, 2019 - 12:35 AM - 12:35 AM

Wait so the dems run this state and others by a corporate Template
So every state has a secret server in their basement to pass secrets American intel to terrorists

Well now wonder illegals are the dems goat
Bring in millions of people that have no attachments to the country
Have them suck dry the system that is designed for American citizens and throw millions of citizens to the streets so illegals can take all the affordable housing

Wow yes I see it now
Corporate mentality bring in your own people and house them locally and privately while sticking it to the surrounding citizens

Well I guess amazon and ups and Walmart are doing it wrong by democrat standards then

Jeeze I guess we all better get on board and push our neighbors to the streets in favor of more illegals and criminals and taxes

Never read that part in the book of capitalism

But communist socialism sure does slap the lower end And force them to work for the whole ….while the upper few get rich and live wealthy

Sure sounds like demifornia to meh

Forsythe November 5, 2019 - 7:11 AM - 7:11 AM

The ACLU, and ambulance chasing lawyers made it very tough to run mental hospitals. So they were shut down back in the 1970s. It is also very tough to run board and care homes. Jail and the streets is the barbaric new normal housing for the mentally ill.

zerocool November 5, 2019 - 12:08 PM - 12:08 PM

amen brother!

Tim November 5, 2019 - 1:14 PM - 1:14 PM

How about seeking a job! With low unemployment, it shouldn’t be a problem. God helps those who help themselves.

ME November 5, 2019 - 1:21 PM - 1:21 PM

Not Homeless! Drug addicts and Mentally ill. Homeless romanticizes them too much.

Economic refugees do not belong in this group.

Gittyup November 5, 2019 - 1:38 PM - 1:38 PM

These individuals are survivors. How many of you would last ten minutes in similar circumstances?

Dude November 5, 2019 - 10:15 PM - 10:15 PM

Hey,
you’re right.

jon November 6, 2019 - 1:21 AM - 1:21 AM

If smashing out windows on Diamond blvd to get money for a fix is being a survivor, then they need to change the meaning the dictionary.

jon November 5, 2019 - 10:44 PM - 10:44 PM

This is a city that if you leave your own car parked in front of your own house for 3 days, youll get a ticket for abandon vehicleThey only exist to squeeze money out of anyone that lives or visits their city..

SF oh November 6, 2019 - 1:00 PM - 1:00 PM

These Townhall Meetings , etc, on homelessness are ridiculous. Billions are wasted on these people and it has not – and will not – solve the problem. The politicians are always saying that these billion-dollar programs are going to help them get out of homelessness and lead productive lives. Then, the following week, there’s another Townhall with the same idiot politicians talking about the high cost of housing in this area, etc, etc. So in order to get the homeless into housing and “back to” leading productive lives, they’d have to: 1) Convince them to want to change their lives, 2) Convince them to want to get off drugs/alcohol, and 3) Train then to work at jobs paying $50 -$100,000 per year to be able to live in the Bay Area. It’s ridiculous and impossible. They also need to stop labeling all homeless as the same. Some are mentally ill – the State needs to be able to legally act on their behalf and put them in mental hospitals. Allowing sick people, who are unable to care for themselves, to live in the streets is inhumane. The drug addicts should be arrested and thrown in jail. The deadbeats who just refuse to take care of themselves should get nothing. If some are genuinely wanting to get their lives together then, yes, give them the help they need. Obviously what they’re doing now isn’t working and more yak, yak, yak in meetings won’t help either.
