East Bay Regional Park District parks and trails reopened today after being closed since Sunday because of public safety risks from windy weather and wildfires around the region.

Staff members will be continuing to assess damage from fallen trees or other vegetation and clean up debris, according to the park district.

Anyone who sees damaged trails or safety hazards in the EBRPD jurisdiction should call park operations at (510) 544-2510.
