Thanks to the unknown motorcyclist for moving a BBQ grill that fell off a truck earlier this afternoon on northbound I-680 near Treat Blvd. in Walnut Creek.
Traffic was backed up, which gave the motorcyclist a chance to quickly move the grill.
Thanks to Dan & Sweet Fred for the picture and information.
SWEET FREEEEEEED!
Thank you mr motorcycle man
I wish they would make it mandatory that if you have anything in the back of your truck you have to use the spider nets. Then when your crap falls out it drags behind YOUR vehicle and damages AND inconveniences YOU. So sick of all the furniture and crap on the roads!!
One movie title name that comes up in my head is IDIOCRACY. A lot of the same things the movie predicted are happening now.
Exactly where we are going to get soon, IDIOCRACY.
Regarding IDIOCRACY ~ It’s already here.
I helped a friend evacuate house Sunday due to fire in Lafayette and we were Surrounded by The Walking Dead, a bunch of zombies who freeze and don’t even know what to do when the traffic lights are out.
These are the same who drink a few red bulls or energy drinks while watching a movie…….their adrenals are shot!
👍🏻
Appreciated by all stuck in traffic, but still dangerous. I guess if you get all lanes of traffic to stop and turn on their emergency flashers it would be safe, but I think the CHP frowns on doing this. Any Chippers out there to comment?
Haven’t bought a ladder yet. Get all mine along the freeways.
Been there done that. That is an unusual Samaritan.
Ironically as a former biker this was the kind of thing that worried me the most; not my own abilities/ skill but the random objects that can fly at you / block you -yes ladders on the road- but also large pieces of random metal one cracked my car windshield would have sliced thorough my helmet.
Very, VERY risky… shows character. Simply… THANK YOU.
