Tankers, Helicopters and fire trucks are on the north side of hwy 24 by Acalanes High School battling the bulk of the fire.

Stanley Blvd was closed 2 hours ago blocked by a fire truck at the gas station on Pleasant Hill Road/Stanley Rd. At that time there was no smoke but as of 30 mins ago heavy black smoke blowing across hwy 24.

I think the smoke is from a fire on Grizzly Island according to the news. It’s bad coming into Concord.

Tankers have flown low over my home in south PH towards Lafayette. Going through our Go Bags right now to be sure we have human/pet emergency supplies for 48 hours. Both vehicles fully fueled as a precaution, too.

Thank you firefighters and first responders. Hoping for little loss of property and no casualties.

Does anyone have an update on this fire? We received an evacuation notice but heard it might be contained. I can’t access the news. Any info would be greatly appreciated
