More than 100 representatives from colleges, universities, trade schools, and other higher education options will be in attendance for the Mt. Diablo Unified School District’s (MDUSD) 7th Annual College Fair on Thursday, October 24 at Ygnacio Valley High School in Concord.

MDUSD is pleased to host its 7th Annual College Fair, welcoming more than 100 representatives from colleges and universities across the country in addition to numerous local educational and career training institutions.  The event is ideal for students in their junior and senior year and offers an unparalleled opportunity to get answers to questions about educational choices and pathways following high school and make informed decisions about options after high school.

The College Fair is open to students and parents/guardians from the following MDUSD high schools:

  • College Park
  • Concord
  • Mt. Diablo
  • Northgate
  • Ygnacio Valley
  • Olympic
  • Nueva Vista/Summit

One would hope that MDUSD gets their plumbing repaired sooner than later.

I think it’d funny if recruiters posted signs that claimed “working plumbing” as an enticement to the prospective students.

It’s funny that they are hiring when they laid off snd cut positions last year, now they have oversized classes, subs teaching classes, no sides in some classes that need one on one sided, no librarians, music, so on…and no contract. New hires will walk into a strike. They will start their first job picketing for a fair contract for students. Sounds like MDUSD is the place to be. I heard Oak Grove has amazing plumbing start there in the cafeteria, should be a fun job.

Typical, MDUSD does something right, and all anyone can do is complain. Not saying they are perfect, but this is a valuable resource for students.
