KFC/A&W on Clayton Rd. in Concord is about to get a makeover.
The plans are for both an interior and exterior renovation of the business.
The interior renovation will include new tables, chairs, paint, flooring and the exterior image upgrade consists of new branding, signage elements and new paint.
The renovation is expected to cost around $75,000.
Will the KFC on monument Blvd get one? I would think that el pollo loco is hurting them.
$75K isn’t going to buy very much.
I spent more than $75,000 to landscape my front and backyards. (of course it was the year before the 2014 drought, ouch!!)
Kirkwood – my thought exactly. Can’t see how they will accomplish all of the renovations listed for only $75,000.
I’ve never been to that eatery. Since new ADA compliant bathrooms are not listed in the renovations, I assume they already have them.
They should make it over by making it a Popeye’s. Keep the root beer though.
@Doug C: why make it a Popeye’s? There’s a Popeye’s down the street across from k-mart on clayton rd.
A little lip stick on a pig.
yeah
I hope that involves changing the fryer oil
3 times yes I know why do I try
but 3 times the fries and chicken strips smelt nasty from old oil
even took them back only to get same bad oil nasty
but yay popeyes has good strips and the oil seems to be changed regularly
Concord ~ Where Fast Food Restaurants Come First!!
Popeyes yuck. Wingstop people Wingstop. Popeyes is no better than KFC. Don’t settle for yuck or yuckier when it comes to your food.
Exactly, make it at home! You can get a whole chicken for what three crispy strips cost you.
Ha. Ha. Let the fast food battles begin. Speaking of nasty, I haven’t had a Jack inthe… taco for ages. Shameful!
Been to Wingstop twice. The first time because my son wanted to join some friends there. The second time, 25 minutes to get an order of 8 expensive wings. Never again.
75k is plenty for a licensed contractor
If it was a union job you would need 300k
Any questions

Thank You all for the info.
Just not into frying foods at home, so this will be good.
El Pollo loco is pretty good.
You can buy a whole chicken at the supermarket for what you pay for three crispy strips, so stop complaining that you can afford a house. You don’t want a house, you want three crispy strips instead.
Ummmmmm again?????? It looks like it does now because it “got an upgrade” already. Hmmmm???
