ARRESTS:

  • Southbrook Dr.  Possess Narcotic Controlled Substance; Possess Controlled Substance Paraphernalia; Warrant.  A 25-year-old Clayton male was arrested after officers responded to a call for service.  He was transported to Concord Police Department for booking.  (09/01/19 – 0835 hrs.)
  • Main St.  Obstruct/Resist Police Officer; Disorderly Conduct: Solicit Lewd Act.  A 67-year-old Concord male was arrested after officers responded to a call for service.  He was transported to Concord Police Department for booking.  (09/01/19 – 1527 hrs.)
  • Clayton Rd./Marsh Creek Rd.  DUI: Alcohol; DUI: Alcohol Over .08.  A 21-year-old Pittsburg female was arrested after officers responded to a call for service.  She was transported to the hospital where she was cited and released.  (09/03/19 – 2323 hrs.) 
  • 5400 Clayton Rd.  Petty Theft.  A 31-year-old transient male was arrested after officers responded to a call for service.  He was released on his signed promise to appear.  (09/05/19 – 1500 hrs.)

Why was she released?? Any officers reading this know why a person busted for DUI is released? Thank you.

No wonder there are so many DUI accidents. We are too lenient on them. Pathetic this state is becoming!

It’s called a “cite and release”. This means they were cited for the DUI and subsequently released pending a court date.

Note: I am not a Police Officer.
