Police on Tuesday arrested a Concord man in connection with a weekend homicide in San Francisco’s Hunters Point neighborhood.
Sauntek Harris, 38, is accused of gunning down 34-year-old Dietrich Whitley Saturday around 9:30 p.m. near Griffith Street and Oakdale Avenue, police said.
At the scene, officers found Whitley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. Medical crews took Whitley to the hospital, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators were able to identify Harris as a suspect and on Tuesday arrested him in Concord.
He was booked in San Francisco jail on suspicion of homicide and being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to jail records. Harris is being held without bail.
Good police work.
California’s gun control laws at work, oh wait, he’s a criminal and felon…
They don’t apply
My point exactly, CA’s gun laws only target responsible, law abiding gun owners!!!
It would take two hundred years of “all guns illegal” before all of the criminals had their guns seized, this is why it won’t work. 108RS
This is why what won’t work?
