Hooters, the American restaurant chain based in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking to open their third Bay Area restaurant in either Walnut Creek or Pleasant Hill, company officials said today.
The restaurant has researched property along N. Main St. in Walnut Creek, and in Pleasant Hill on Contra Costa Blvd., across from the Sunvalley Mall at the old Tahoe Joe’s location.
They plan to make a decision on a location within the next few months, the company said.
Hooters currently has two Bay Area restaurants; one in Dublin and one in San Bruno.

Round 1 is a fire trap. After 9 pm , the only exit is to the outside and the escalators are blocked off, funneling panicked people up the staircase on the west wall will be a disaster. where is the Fire Marshall?
Am a bit bemused that we can’t have a second Chick Fil-A, but Hooters is just peachy with the various city councils involved…sigh.

Don’t we have enough low grade food, so many people get excited about Chick-Fil-A it’s not great. It’s on ok piece of chicken on a plan boring bun and fries that need some kind of seasoning. I’m not for Hooters either! Bad enough we have another buffet to bring down the values of our homes. Keep it class Concord.

Couldn’t agree more. It is incredibly family friendly, great menu and fun for kids. I’m from Buffalo and a total wing snob, there wings are some of the best around. And as a sports bar, it is awesome.
Hooters is as asexual as any other restaurant in the same price-point, say: TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, Lazy Dog, and etc. I have been to Hooters many times. Nobody is stuffing dollar bills in the Hooters Girl’s shorts. There are no back rooms for after-meal encounters. I have yet to see anyone be rude to the servers, grab ass as they walk by, or whatever else one can imagine. Aside from the beautiful women serving food, there is nothing sexually suggestive about Hooters! I say, if anyone has a problem with the atmosphere at Hooter’s, by all means, don’t take your kids to the beach, swimming pool, or water park. God forbid kids be exposed to women wearing bikinis? What’s this world coming to?

Now we’re talking! I spent many evenings (and even more dollar bills) at that place in my younger years. I still get a little bit nostalgic every time I rent a Budget truck.
I remember the Wicked Eye! We moved to Danville in the 70’s when I was a teen. Besides the Brass Door, it was just about the only thing between Danville & San Ramon in those days. It was scandalous!!!!
