Tower Grille, located at 1950 Grant St. in Concord, was closed this week after inspectors from the Contra Costa County Department of Environmental Health say they found the following:
- 1 live adult cockroach on wall around pipe under the hand sink opposite the cook line.
- 2 dead cockroaches on the hand sink soap dispenser.
- 1 live and 8 dead roaches and cockroach feces on floor/wall/cove base under behind salad prep refrigerator
located left of cook line. - 1 live juvenile cockroach crawling on floor between dish machine and beer cooler at bar.
- 1 dead cockroach on floor opposite the ware wash station in back kitchen.
- 8 dead cockroaches on floor or on soda fountain lines of the bar area.
- 1 dead cockroach left of the ice machine in the back kitchen.
- 10+(nest) of live cockroaches observed in crack between booths installed along the dining room mirrored wall.
