QUESTION: What day does your garbage get picked up, and do you like it, or would you rather have another day?

We have Garbage pick-up Monday,….totally like it.
Ours get picked up on Fridays….good day as it has all the garbage for the week.
Thursday, and any day is fine with me. The trucks always scare the cat, but as soon as they are gone, she’s back to her old self. I would think that after seven years living here with me she’d be used to them by now, but nope, they still scare her.
Mine is Wednesday. It makes absolutely no difference to me.
Doesn’t matter to me, as long as they pick up, which doesn’t always happen.

My preference would be Tuesday morning. Gets rid of weekend trash plus most holidays are on Mondays.

When I was working my week would go from Friday night to Friday night or Monday morning to Monday morning. Now it goes from garbage day to garbage day.
Mine is on Monday so I have all weekend to fill them up. I like it.
Mine is Thursday.
We need to call them at least twice a month because they miss our little street.
Our’s is Friday; but because there’s a screwy contract between Pacheco, and Republic, they only pick up all 3 cans every other Friday; and just the blue can (garbage) every Friday! Very different than the houses around us who’s addresses are either P-Hill or Martinez.(!?!)
I forgot to mention that our little street (off Chilpancigo) gets forgotten at least one Friday every month!! Grrrr!
Pick up is Friday. Not ideal when we take Friday off to stretch the weekend because we have to ask neighbors to bring in the bins. Ideally, they’d pick up on Wednesday. Second choice would be Tuesday or Thursday.
MIne is Monday. I like it because I have the weekend to clear things out that need to be thrown away.
Monday, and it is perfect!
Makes no difference re holidays because they still pick up! (However, if Thanksgiving or Christmas actually fall on a Monday, the trucks come the next day.)
Monday’s for Recycle and Tuesday for Landfill!
I like the fact that our garbage and recycling is taken out to large dumpsters in an enclosed area. We don’t mess around with everybody having their own containers that you have to put out curbside. Very convenient.
