Today I always take time to reflect on the courage and sacrifices of our Founding Fathers and their families. Got to thinking about some of the infighting, insults, and insulting newspaper contributions that were present among the group. Just think what would have happened if our Founding Fathers had social media and Twitter. Might just make Trump’s tweets appear mild.
Put my flag up today. While getting out the bracket and pole etc from the garage I discovered: Baseball and gloves, Field hockey stick, Cricket bat, Football, Tennis rackets, Bicycle tires, Ice hockey puck, last years science project, and all the other things that make America great. Happy birthday USA!
I can’t wait to start setting off fireworks I know Contra Costa county wants us to be anti-American but that’s not going to happen in my neighborhood what the Democrats have done to my state makes me sick I think they should all be locked up Gavin newsom should be in prison for making our state a sanctuary state
The ban against fireworks is neither Republican nor Democrats it has to do with fire danger. I don’t want to get political on the 4th. I lean left most center, I have friends way to the right and way to the left, I don’t know anyone who does not enjoy fireworks on the 4th (as long as it is fire safe) and who don’t not celebrate the 4th in some ways.
I work at Macy’s I worked 6 hours yesterday, I’m always amazed how many people shop on the 4th. Sure there are both Republicans and Democrats amongst them. All friendly though and wishing us sales people a Happy 4th. Macy’s usually does a little fundraising this time of the year, asking customer’s to round up to the nearest $ to donate to veterans. Many do, others do not, granted often customer don’t take the time to read what they actually are donating to, some say I already give through other means. However, it is less than a dollar it should be a no brainer for majority of customers.
God Bless America and those who gave their lives to preserve our liberties. May our flag fly high and proudly!
