***Parking Enforcement advisory from Walnut Creek Police**** Our Parking Enforcement team has noticed Amazon stickers being posted on parking meters throughout the downtown core area. Please do not scan the QR code placed on meters as it could be a scam. The City of Walnut Creek only accepts QR payments that are printed on the citation itself.
Likely some sort of affiliate link, but not going to scan the QR code to find out.
WCPD should reach out to Amazon and figure out which affiliate is doing this.

stop charging for parking and it will all go away. Walnut Creek makes a fortune from you to park in your own City. That is a bigger scam!
