Two women were arrested in Benicia last week after officers allegedly found hundreds of dollars’ worth of groceries from at least two cities.
On Wednesday night, officers were dispatched to grocery store near Military West and west Second Street in Benicia regarding a theft that had just occurred, the police department said.
Two women out of Vallejo, Anamaria Constantinescu, 23, and Elena Hurmuza, 26, had allegedly fled the store after using a baby stroller to hide stolen goods.
Police met the women at their vehicle parked in a neighboring lot.
The local store was able to recover over $950 dollars’ worth of groceries, though most of the items were perishable and unable to be resold, according to the Benicia Police Department.
Officers also allegedly discovered more than $500 worth of groceries that had been stolen from the Trader Joe’s in Pinole. Police also allegedly found a large amount of cash.
Both women were booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of shoplifting, receiving stolen property, second-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime
The REAL crime is that those two little piles of groceries estimated value was $950 & $500 !

President Trump is helping all taxpayers by getting rid of some of the fraud and abuse of taxpayer’s tax money. Wasting less will make the money go further which will help everyone.
That screeching is the gravy train coming to a stop and the people who were benefiting from the grift crying because they can’t steal our money anymore.
