Remember our April Fools story about the Tesla Showroom opening at the old Kmart location? Well, apparently it reached more than the Claycord audience.
(FROM KRON4) — Residents in the Concord and Clayton area have noticed the former Kmart site is still vacant since closing more than five years ago. They appeared to have mixed feelings about a report that came out last week about a massive Tesla showroom possibly opening up in the quiet East Bay suburb. A report published by Claycord, a hyperlocal outlet covering the Clayton and Concord area, said that the controversial electric vehicle company is looking to take over that space and demolish the former home of the department store.
