Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10) announced that he will host an Immigration Town Hall & Resource Fair at an undisclosed location in Danville to discuss the “Trump Administration’s unconstitutional immigration actions and its threats to open an ICE detention facility in Dublin” on Wednesday, April 16. The resource fair will begin at 5:30 p.m. PT where local agencies and organizations will share resources related to immigrant rights. The town hall will run from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. PT.

Like it or not, when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that resident alien green card holders, other foreign-born legal aliens, and illegal aliens can be counted in the census and can be used in drawing legislative districts, they gave these individuals representation in Congress and the State Legislatures.

You should be happy that Congressman Mark DeSaulnier is a “do nothing” and “get nothing done” member of Congress, as you wouldn’t want or support the things that he’d like to get done.
So many questions and thoughts.
1). If Mark has sworn as an elected congressman to uphold the constitution, how can he support illegals entering this country? Either Mark does not support our constitution or he does not want us to defend ourselves; either one is unacceptable as an elected member of congress.
2). Why is the location undisclosed? What does he have to fear, besides the truth and that the people he is supposed to represent don’t want him too.
3). What is his issue with an ICE detention center?
4). I want to call and make a reservation to attend … and then not show up just to take a seat away from some person who might consider showing up to boost that little man’s ego.
There is nothing unconstitutional about what the Trump admin is doing. Send the illegals back home. If you really want to be here then do it the correct way, pay your taxes and stop getting everything for free!

Congressman Mark DeSaulnier doesn’t support voter ID laws, BUT HE NOW REQUIRES HIS CONSTITUENTS TO GIVE UP THEIR FOURTH AMENDMENT RIGHTS TO LISTEN TO HIM SPEAK AT TOWN HALL MEETINGS.
