Today’s question:
QUESTION: When was the last time you visited a library?
A few years ago, my card expired, and I haven’t gotten around to renewing it. I used to go onto their website and place a hold on what I wanted. If they didn’t have it, they would search every public library in the state. They also searched college and university libraries, and I would get it in about three or four days.
Thanks, I have an account, and I will look into it.

Just last week! I visited weekly or more when raising kids, but let card lapse as they got older. Am now retired and recently renewed my account and now almost always have one or more books checked out. Love that they have ebook option for many titles that can be read on my Kindle app–so convenient to just download and go without a trip in needed. But when ebook not available I place hold on physical book. I regularly pass right by both Concord and WC branches in my current routines so it works for me to make a quick stop along the way to pick up / drop off. Libraries are a treasure and I’m glad to renew my acquaintance!

A few weeks ago. I love to read, and I’m finally utilizing the library instead of wasting money buying books. Our tax dollars are paying for libraries so we might as well use them.

About a month ago to get set up to read the EB Times newspaper online for free … instead of paying $1,520.00 annually for hardcopy

Probably about 10 years ago, when my son had to go there to do homework. I used to go weekly, at a minimum, but no longer need to go.

A few weeks ago, to re-activate my card. As a mobility-impaired person, it’s hard for me to get around, but there is a lot of digital material available now. Thanks to my card, I can have access to lots of books, magazines, newspapers, and videos at no cost. I have a lot of unread, used books but my stacks are slowly dwindling, so I thought that using my library card again would be a great resource.

When I had to renew my library card. I always have a book I am reading via the ebooks. I love this ability. I may try the audio books soon.

You can create a login and renew online. They also have ebooks now which is great.
