The Brentwood Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the two suspects in this photo. On March 19, 2025, they were involved in a theft at WinCo and assaulted a loss prevention employee, according to police. curious as to what the assault was. If they shoved the ” loss prevention employee” out of the way, that is not really assault; if they pushed to the ground/punched, that is different. regardless, we know becton will hold her victims’ rights certificate tightly (if she hasn’t lined her bird cage with it) as she decides not to prosecute this lovely couple.

assault is threatening, battery is actually putting hands on.
In legal terms, assault involves creating a reasonable fear of imminent harm, while battery is the unlawful application of force or touching that causes harm or offensive contact.
