I’m still confused by the time change.
What’s so confusing about it, your time devices don’t have instructions for you to change the time?
I just live as if it is still standard time. Time isn’t real anyway. 😄
Jackie and Shadow, the Big Bear Valley Eagles, hatched 3 eggs this year. The last few years, the eggs were not fertilized, so many watched with bated breath for disappointment. Unfortunately, two days ago there was a mishap to one of the eaglets, so we are down to 2, very sad. If interested in watching, look up Friends of Big Bear Valley, it is tremendously engaging, amazing how drawn in you can get (we are, in this house, my wife will cry about the poor 3rd eaglet). We are now watching them grow as both Jackie and Shadow feed them, usually fish and coots.
I also have begun watching Althea, a Great Horned Owl. She is at the University of Texas at a Wildflower Center. She laid 2 eggs March 6, with expected hatching April 6-10.
Two chess facts to ponder. One, while the total number of possible games is definitely finite, it’s still unknown. Computers are working on it.
Two, the Knight’s Tour! A knight starts on any square, and travels around the board moving legally as a knight, and lands on every square exactly once. Is it possible? Yes it is, with trillions of unique tours.
I like these kinds of facts. I have been pondering various facts to include, and now, because you have “kicked it off,” I will consider one for next week…
Just saw on the news a SF trans pulled out a gun on a street preacher. Looks to be fake or a pellet pistol cause the trans just ran off when he didn’t flinch and preached at her about genders. Too bad preacher wasn’t armed to do a kill shot to head in defense. It looked like a very confused mental case.
