And traffic accidents as people try to drive to work with sleep deprivation.
Weight gain from eating lunch earlier than your body is used to.
Just get up earlier if you want DST year round.
The scam is they want you to stop off and spend more hard earned money on your way home. 😉

hmmm, I think I will use that eating lunch at a different time than my body is used to as a reason for my weight gain.

Just found a great song by Lainey Wilson: Wildflowers and Wild Horses – the lyrics are kick-ass and the music makes me want to sit out on the porch and watch the stars come out.

If I talked about whatever I would be here all night.
May I share a vid and a laugh for the grammatically inclined?

🤣😂😅😂🤣

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands. For example, if they’re placed around your neck, she’s probably slightly upset.

Hello friends!

2 questions for you:
Do you use Yelp? Do you trust the reviews other users post? Good or bad.
I have a small business in town and received a call from someone and I called them back within 2 hours. Come to find out, this person already left me a bad review. A little unrealistic if you ask me. Yelp is no help.

Maybe this could be a water cooler topic in the future.

Last question:
We have about 5 large tempered glass pieces that came from an enclosed patio. Any ideas where to dispose of? They are thick and so far unbreakable.

Thanks! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I read and post reviews on Yelp and have found them helpful. If you were given a bad review for simply not returning a call sooner, you should answer that review directly.

How to get rid of tempered glass.

Personally, I never trust Yelp or any reviews on the internet. I don’t know who wrote them, or how honest they are. For all I know, friends and family of the business owner could have written them. There are also a lot of trolls on the internet that get their jollies making things up and misleading people.

I have a few friends that have been victims of similar negative yelp reviews.
Some people are born to complain.
You can never earn a complainer’s business.
So don’t try.

But it’s important to protect your reputation by politely responding to complaints (especially unreasonable ones) to show you are involved & concerned with customer service and to encourage repeat business from customers with a legitimate complaint.
You don’t want to discourage potential customers by being seemingly uncaring.
Most folks will be able to determine when the person complaining is just a jackass.

Your post is 100% correct. A good example is a recent Yelp review of a new restaurant that was given 1 star. The GM responded directly to the reviewer and apparently made everything all right because that 1 star review is gone.

Well….. tonight’s California Fantasy 5 Lottery grand prize winning ticket (and it wasn’t mine) was sold at the Olympic Market @ 2400 Olympic Blvd. in Walnut Creek…. $367,195.00

I on occasion take my young grandson to Boatwright Athletic Fields with his bike, which he has recently learned to ride. In the third parking lot a large RV has taken up what seems to be permanent residence. Though I never have seen the occupants, I am unhappy about the unknown as to the quality of the people inside. I’m looking for another spot to take my grandson until this RV and its occupants are evicted. I shouldn’t have to do this.

I don’t want to be a male version of a Karen, but I’m thinking it is time to call Concord PD to alert them of my concern.

I’m not going to try to talk you out of it.
Call ’em.

Counting tonight, I figure I’ve watched almost 70 innings of pre-season baseball.
I may need help.

Does anyone remember the name of the dingdong pilot who was arrested about 20 years ago for buzzing his ex-wife’s house in the middle of the night in Canterbury Village? Don’t think the Search function goes back that far.
