Within the last 2 weeks, but not for coffee, I didn’t bring lunch to work, I like their croissant ham and cheese sandwich. I don’t drink much coffee, with the medication I take for my back coffee makes my stomach burn. If I do drink coffee it is usually a latte or Frappuccino, I like their peppermint mocha latte. When working late I liked to get a latte, but Starbucks at Sun Valley closed down so that is not an option. When I drive down to LA I like to stop at Starbucks. Besides their croissants sandwich they have other sandwiches, especially for breakfast that I like.

I don’t eat, or in this case, drink junk food. Fancy overly priced, and extra sweet coffee
doesn’t do anything for me. If I drink coffee, I like it strong and unadulterated.

In September for a free drink.

About 2 months ago – Clayton Station – very busy but in & out pretty fast

What’s the fastest way to get Starbucks in less than a minute?
Tell the barista that your name is Fire. Everyone will run outside as soon as your name is called.

Astronauts use what kind of currency?
Starbucks.

About 15 years ago to get a cup of hot chocolate while watching a Christmas parade in Oakland. I’ve never drank coffee.

When they stopped making decaf coffee to serve.
Now they brew it by the cup and it’s so flavorless.
But I have always preferred Peet’s since early 2000’s.
Don’t need the fancy drinks with all the calories.

5 years ago. All the drinks are overpriced.

never.

My last visit to Starbucks was sometime before 2020. I don’t have any interest in specialty coffees, and they cost too much for my taste. My youngest sister seems addicted to Starbucks and would send her husband out to get her a cup for breakfast and probably other times of the day. Oddly enough, they’re now divorced.

… I think it was June 2023.

Right before Christmas. I only drink coffee black and the darker the better, so I was getting their clover drinks until those become unavailable. Their Vertica machine does a fairly good job though and fast. But I usually go there to link up with friends and maybe go for a walk afterwards. But I can make a press coffee at home which is hard to beat.

Starbucks was supposed to recreate the experience of the coffee places in Europe but really never did.

I can’t remember. Who was president before Obama?
Around then.

2010 when I worked for a corporation and was with the group on a tour of several facilities.
They always took a coffee break there.
I never liked Sbux coffees much. Always too strong & bitter…. Ptooie!

The December 2023 tornado did not damage our house, but we were without power for a few days. Gas fireplaces kept us warm, but we had no connection to the rest of the world. We drove two towns over to find a Starbucks where we could charge our phones and connect to the internet.

Never been a customer. Since 1975 I have taken 200 MG. Caffeine pills daily. It works well and is not addictive.

Every day for 50 years…. but it’s not addictive?
yeah… just like me.
I smoked cigarettes for 15 years but never got in the habit.

You’ve been taking a stimulant pill daily for 50 years, but you’re not addicted. Uh, huh…

Many years ago. Never did like their coffee and way too expensive to boot. I brew my own at home using Peets whole beans and grind them fresh.

Last month. Sometimes I’ll grab a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Decent coffee ( although over-priced in my opinion) and the staff usually are really pleasant in most of the ones we have patronized.

Around 2020. I prefer Pete’s coffee.

Have never set foot in one.
Don’t plan on doing so.
Make coffee at home and drink it,
watching money that would have
been spent there, grow in stock market.

I believe it was pre-COVID maybe 2019, at a convention in Washington DC. I wanted coffee, and the closest, by far, choice was the hotel Starbuck’s. I am not a fan of paying for a cup of coffee, nor a fan of the taste of Starbuck’s.

Last Wednesday to use the bathroom.

My apologies to whomever had to unclog the toilet after I left.

PEETS OVER STARBUCKS!

Depends, I’m not really a coffee drinker, I drink tea every morning with breakfast, I like black tea very strong often use 2 tea bags to get it strong enough, usually an English tea Typhoo, I used to get it at Cost Plus, but the last few times I was there they didn’t have it, so I ordered it from Amazon. When I drink coffee, which is less and less, I don’t like it too strong, thus I prefer a latte, and if I drink plain coffee, I add it a lot of cream and some sugar. So obviously not a coffee purist.

Over 20 years ago to meet up with fellow night school students and teacher. It always irked me that they sell 3 sizes of coffee and the barista corrects me when I say small coffee please. “That’s grande.” I’ve been to Italy. That is not how they order coffee in Italy. Nor do they use the word venti.

BTW Starbucks stopped selling free trade coffee a few years back.
