This is a “10 Gallon Club” card, which was passed out at local A&W restaurants a long, long time ago.
This one was from the Pleasant Hill location at 1959 Contra Costa Blvd.
QUESTION: Does anybody remember this A&W?

Loved it. The root beer was actually root beer back then. Not some PepsiCo fake syrup water.
You could take your own rinsed out gallon milk jug in to get it filled with A&W I think it was about $2./gallon —- AWESOME!
And best in the drive-thru category: Papaburger, Mamaburger,Teenburger, AND a Baby burger…with a two ounce mug of root beer for the little slugger 🙂 yummmmmy.
I wonder if they have a discount card for the dialysis you’d need later. 🤔
