The “Water Cooler” is a feature on Claycord.com where we ask you a question or provide a topic, and you talk about it.
The “Water Cooler” will be up Monday-Friday in the noon hour.
QUESTION: As most of you know, Valentine’s Day is today. Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? Why or why not?
Talk about it.
Absolutely
I will be and am in a “non-traditional” way this year. Haven’t been for a long while. Don’t go for buying myself a Rose etc.
Celebrate like having a party? No …. flowers and a card does it… sometimes go out for dinner but nothing fancy.
Yes, we celebrate. We’re happily married.
Just a minor Celebration.
We have a nice dinner and little dessert at Home.
Suits us fine.
I sent out Valentine cards to a couple of women I know, does that count?
The last time I did a real celebration was before my wife died. I did the roses
thing, and took her out to dinner. I miss that, she died way too young at 37.
.
Every day is Valentine’s Day.
.
We acknowledge the day, perhaps exchange a thing or two, but not really a celebration. We are married, for a few decades, so could say every day is Valentine’s Day.
