PRIORITY DOGS: These dogs have been at the Contra Costa animal shelter the longest, waiting patiently for a loving home. Some have had little to no adoption interest, and the stress of shelter life is taking a toll on them. Adoptions are free, a $25 licensing fee may apply. Business hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 10am-5pm (7pm on Wednesdays).
