One person suffered minor injuries in a crash on Willow Pass Rd. at Port Chicago Hwy. in Concord on Saturday evening just before 6 p.m.

The Prius (above left) was apparently t-boned by a Honda Element. The bus shown in the photo wasn’t involved in the crash.

The roadway is now clear.

When there is no traffic enforcement, these are the consequences. I have even seen cops speed without their sirens on, having their sirens on but no sound (weird), not turning their blinker lights on.
Hopefully now, with the Trump administration, police departments will start enforcing laws and police officers will be respected.
The best way to “defund the police” is by having them enforcing the laws. It’s not cheap to constantly catch and release the same individuals over and over again.
On another note, shops and car owners who are doing and having their front windows tinted very dark should be given hefty fines since it poses a safety hazard.

Pretending that aren’t a lot of problems with police and that they don’t have an insane amount of bias is not the right premise. Everything around us can be improved and the police are no exception. I have unfortunately have had a family member be very involved with the police and they treat the rest of this person’s family (who are law abiding, kind citizens) like animals and ransack their homes. I’ve been followed by the police (and pulled over!) a number of times because I’m tangentially related to this person. If they were doing their jobs to even the mediocre amount of their availability, they wouldn’t be wasting time harassing people because their bored and need to feed their superiority complexes.
