Concord Police detained a man who allegedly attempted to steal merchandise from Ross on Ygnacio Valley Rd. in Concord on Wednesday night at 9:30.

Employees say the man was acting suspicious while carrying items and walking around the store. One employee said the man also took his dirty shirt off, and put a new one on. The man was standing in the very front of the store when police entered and detained him.

It’s unknown if the man is the same person who stole merchandise from the Ross store on Monument Blvd. in Concord about an hour prior to this alleged crime.

Doesn’t fit the description so its crickets from the “must’ve been one of those protestors” crowd 🙄

see a white criminal. What disgrace

It seems like a person with mental issues.
Maybe homeless, I don’t think this has nothing to do with protestors.
