The following is from the Concord Police Department:
The Concord Police Department has recently responded to numerous gang related incidents and assaults at area schools. Our detectives and officers worked diligently on this problem and conducted a multiple location search warrant operation yesterday and today connected to several incidents at Concord intermediate and high schools. This collaborative operation between CPD Detectives, CPD School Resource Officers, Special Enforcement Team Officers, and Contra Costa County Probation Officers yielded the following:
-Six subjects arrested
-Two illegal firearms seized
-Methamphetamine and prescription drugs for the purpose of sales
-A weapon recovered that was used during an assault on campus
This operation is just another example of the teamwork and dedication our officers display on a daily basis to make Concord a safe home for our citizens. Great job by all!
Great job CPD!
So sad! What schools?
I’m not the smartest man in the world but I think we can all guess that the most likely schools involved were Oak Grove Middle and Mt. Diablo and Ygnacio Valley High Schools.
Which schools? How many arrested at which school? .. any details?
So, what schools
Before the illegal invasion, Concord was a decent town.
When was that? Lol.. I remember hanging up with my white classmates and they were all junkies. Stealing the prescription drugs from their grandma or their mom’s.
You’re not wrong. If they are illegal, they and their families should be deported now that they have documented criminal records.
So our schools aren’t safe. Guns in our middle and high schools? Do we need metal detectors?
Certainly would help to put some ice agents there. That would clean these schools up quickly!
How many gangs were in Concord in the 70’s-80’s? Now look at how many there are and what has changed. The facts don’t lie.
In the 1980s, you could walk the full length of Monument Blvd. at 2:00 AM on a Saturday night and be perfectly safe. That was when the Monument area was populated by working-class whites. Try that today. Mt. Diablo HS had issues back then, but it’s nothing like today. There is no comparison at all.
