Two suspects, described by police as black male adults, stole a cart full of liquor from the Clayton Safeway on Wednesday night.

The theft happened just before 7 p.m.

The suspects fled the store, and loaded the liquor into their white van, which was parked near Country Waffles, then they fled on Kirker Pass towards Pittsburg.

They also didn’t put their cart back in the cart corral.

i was at Safeway in Pleasant Hill tonight and witnessed two men walk in, Load their cart with merchandise and roll the cart out the door. None of the employees said a word. It’s that easy I guess.

Since when do we have to pay for items in stores under Gavin Newsom’s watch? Him and Bonta both said they supported Prop 47 and were against Prop 36 because it puts people of color in jail. I wonder what ethnicities are most responsible for retail theft in our state? I personally blame the Swiss tourists

I’m just blown away that they didn’t at least have the decency to return the cart to the cart corral!! What’s the world coming to?

How rude.. to not the return the cart to the corral!
Boil them!

Put them in the chair. Zap!

…. too bad … that store is ripe for that kind of theft – going over Kirker towards Pitts – no surprise
