ALERT: Kirker Pass (Towards Pittsburg) Closed After Vehicle Hits Pole, Tree Near Concord Pavilion

Traffic Alert, Concord: Concord Police Department is working a vehicle collision that partially sheared off a utility pole on Kirker Pass Rd between Clearbrook Dr and Myrtle Dr, in Concord. There is a safety threat due to live power lines. Outbound Kirker Pass Rd is closed, however the inbound side remains open. PG&E has been dispatched to the scene. The vehicle also hit a tree. The extent of the driver’s injuries is unknown at this time. Please avoid the area. Thanks to Ken for the photos from the scene.
