It’s on TV too early, and I’m sure I will find most of it boring. I’ll wait until evening
and catch some of the highlights on TV. And I don’t really need to hear any of the
speeches because they are always the same, and I already heard them.

If I can. I am eager for President Trump to be inaugurated. Part of that is just the knowledge that biden will wither away on a beach and can cause no more global damage. He still has a couple days to try to ruin society, like the recent release of I believe 2500 criminals in one fell swoop.

I don’t typically watch any of them. I will find the written transcript of the speech and have students compare it to the inaugural addresses of the past. They look for similarities and differences and analyze word choice and tone. I usually have them compare to Washington’s first inaugural, Lincoln’s first and second inaugural, Kennedy’s, Nixon’s first, and Reagon’s first inaugural.

Nope.
It’s all political baloney.
Costly pomp and circumstance that that’s not needed.
Trump got voted in, and it’s time to get to work.

We had to put up with a pathetic clown show for 4 years!
If those of you who are still b*tt sore, Canada and Mexico just a short trip away!
