I find it more interesting that President Donald Trump was our oldest president when sworn-in in 2017 at age 70 years 7 months, and will again be our oldest president when sworn-in in 2025 at age 78 years 7 months. In 2017, he surpassed President Ronald Reagan as the oldest president to be sworn-in, and in 2025, he’ll have surpassed President Joe Biden as the oldest president to be sworn-in.
It’s on TV too early, and I’m sure I will find most of it boring. I’ll wait until evening
and catch some of the highlights on TV. And I don’t really need to hear any of the
speeches because they are always the same, and I already heard them.
If I can. I am eager for President Trump to be inaugurated. Part of that is just the knowledge that biden will wither away on a beach and can cause no more global damage. He still has a couple days to try to ruin society, like the recent release of I believe 2500 criminals in one fell swoop.
I don’t typically watch any of them. I will find the written transcript of the speech and have students compare it to the inaugural addresses of the past. They look for similarities and differences and analyze word choice and tone. I usually have them compare to Washington’s first inaugural, Lincoln’s first and second inaugural, Kennedy’s, Nixon’s first, and Reagon’s first inaugural.

No! I’ve never had any interest in actually watching any inauguration, although Jackson’s would have been worth seeing. I also have no interest in watching the Emmys, Oscars, Golden Globes, or any other award shows. However, I am a sucker for Scout Courts of Honor.
