Who remembers Seasonal Reflections in the Clayton Valley shopping center on Ygnacio Valley Rd. in Concord?
It was basically a party supply store. A nice one, too.
Before it was Seasonal Reflections, it was Car Quest Auto Parts, and before that, it was Safeway (believe it or not). Safeway then moved to where OSH is currently located, before moving to its current location in the Clayton Station shopping center.
I don’t remember the store you’re mentioning now, probably cuz we moved away. I do definitely remember when it was a Safeway back in the early 70’s
Beedes, (sp?) TV place, liquor, Franks barbershop and safeway with it’s curved roof.
That was1960s, long before put up all those danged stop signs in parking lot.
I was getting this one mixed up with Donna’s Gifts in my head.
Our friend was the owner of Seasonal Reflections. I remember him talking about how much of a problem that retail theft at the store was. I think the store would have done better maybe somewhere in Walnut Creek as well, rather than Concord. He closed up the business and moved his family out of state.
He knew then
I remember the old Safeway, Beedes, the barber shop, the Valley Lounge, Lettuce Romaine, CarQuest, a liquor store and a place that sold TV’s. I have absolutely no memory of Seasonal Reflections.
I’ve lived here forver and have never heard of Seasonal Reflections
The signage in that center is the worst. You can’t see most of the businesses. You have no idea what’s located there. It also has the worst traffic flow, and some weird parking. Nothing about it is right.
