The Contra Costa County animal shelter is in need of blankets to help keep their animals warm and cozy. If you have old blankets that are just sitting around, please consider giving them a second life by donating to the shelter.

-What they’re looking for:

✅ Gently used blankets
✅ Any size works

What they can’t accept:

❌ Towels
❌ Sheets or pillowcases
❌ Stuffed items like comforters

You can drop them off in-person at the shelter, located at 4800 Imhoff Place in Martinez. They’re open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-5pm (with extended hours until 7pm on Wednesdays).
