Hmm, when can citizens of California expect democrats running this state, into the ground, to get their act together on price gouging and policy cancellations of home owner insurance policies? Have neighbors that had their insurance renewal quote raised by 60% in one year.

What’s more important, campaign contributions from those in insurance industry or citizens of California?
Ha! You ask “What’s more important” as if you actually thought for a minute that they might say “citizens.” They can just “take” money from the citizens, but they have to beg the insurance industry for donations.
The collusion between the insurance and mortgage industries needs to stop.
The mortgage companies require the house to be fully insured even if you only owe a small fraction of its value. But the insurance companies require that you insure not only the house but its contents.
If you add a shed, they will charge you more. If you have a pool, hot tub or trampoline, or certain types of dogs they will charge you more.
If you have an older roof – even if it has passed a professional inspection – they may cancel you. If you install a new roof or solar panels, they will increase premiums because you’ve added value to the house.
If you file a small claim, your rates will go up more than the value of the claim. If you file a large claim, they will try to deny it or cancel you.
The extra money paid to the insurance company means you have less to pay down your mortgage. Allowing more interest to accrue.
Legislation ending these unfair business practices could be easily created. Why won’t are politicians do it?
It has nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans. Insurance rates are being raised or policies dropped in Florida, Arkansas, Massachusetts and Minnesota, as well as other states. Democratic and Republican states alike.
Climate change probably is playing a larger part in these increases. Higher risks of flood and fire result in higher premiums.
The insurance companies need to be regulated, but don’t expect additional regulations from the incoming Trump administration. That isn’t their thing.
So climate change is simultaneously increasing flood and fire risks? But nowhere is it lowering the risks of fire or floods?
Climate change logic always makes things more expensive, laws more restrictive and rarely applies to governments. You’ll never hear them say that we have to stop to buying bombs for Ukraine because the carbon footprint is too high.

How was it that you were able to look at truckers and SEE that they’re foreigners?
let look at the subclasses of the legal residents. There are non-citizens and citizens. Non-citizens are automatically foreigners; for citizens, with exception of European descent, are always be labeled with theirs decent and thus will never be a true American. In other words, you have Asian-American, Native-American, African American,…ect but never European-American

As for Harris forgetting the words, to me that is disgusting. She is the sitting Vice President of the United States of America!! She should be able to recite our pledge flawlessly even when drunk. That pledge is the allegiance our politicians should be held accountable to. Our national values have fallen so far down that people of this country think it is acceptable that a VP cannot recite the pledge ….. disgusting.
I think it should be said in every classroom, every day, but I know we have local politicians who turn their back on the flag while it is recited (see useless MDUSD board members) so my wish will likely not happen.

I just watched the “Presidential Medal of Freedom Awards”. Many of the recipients were deserving of the award. Two of the awards went to George Soros & Hillary Clinton.
