Stolen Vehicle Suspect Taken Into Custody In Pleasant Hill

Helicopter Alert: The Sheriff’s STARR3 helicopter is currently assisting multiple agencies in the pursuit of a stolen vehicle. The pursuit began in Concord near Diamond Blvd and Willow Pass Rd. It ultimately made its way into Pleasant Hill, where the subject abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Roughly in the area of Boyd Rd and Richie Dr. The subject hopping fences in the area of Cleveland Rd and appears to be moving in the direction of downtown.

Update: The subject has been taken into custody, in part by a K9 officer. Medical has been dispatched.
