No, but I don’t have many to buy for, mostly my 2 grandchildren. I do have a teenage step grandchild, but I usually give money, since I don’t know what to get. I plan on buying the present either at work or order from Macy’s.com in the next few days.

With my work schedule it is almost impossible for me to get time off to go to Pasadena where my daughter lives, however I did get several days off at the end of December (with the help of a great manager), so I will be visiting my family for a few days and will be back in the Bay Area to attend my good friends New Years Party in Walnut Creek.

What does TMI stand for. I’m not good at guessing, I like words to be written out, guess I’m old fashion.

I looked it up, should have done that before I posted. You are not required to read the whole comment or my comments in general if you don’t like them. No offense taken.

Now, look up TLDR

Based you past reply to my comments I think I will pass. Too busy.

No… but not much left to do

Yes, …. there aren’t many people to buy for the most part.
I even let Friends & Family know, no baked goodies for us.
Hubby retired this year, and most goodies go bad now, … he uses to bring all to work ASAP.

As life goes and should, segments of the family go with their children and little grandchildren, so no Christmas where usually was, so there was no shopping to do. Agreement made. We’ve all miminized to nice cards this year. No matter how much anyone has.

Some of my nephews are in Houston and Dallas, and other nieces and nephews in Southern California etc. My brother in law and sister in law, who live in Sonoma County and I stay close, and will get together after first of year as well as another family friend I’m close to from Daly City.

Adapting to changes are part of life. Enjoy the holidays everyone… Be safe if driving or traveling.

Done and this year they came pre-wrapped . . . . .

Hope you got my gift Mayor. I’ll keep an eye out for yours. 😋

Pretty much but…..I don’t shop. I make candy and cookies, paint ceramic pieces, make soup, dip and cookie mix jars to give away. Due to my healing wrist I was a bit behind and didn’t get anything shipped UPS ground until Dec 13th, I’m hearing from people their gifts have arrived.
There is one thing I buy to add to packages and that’s Lather & Fizz shower steamers or bath bombs. The variety of scents and price can’t be beat. And it’s a beautiful drive to there shop at Palisades.

Good reminder. I’ll start my Christmas shopping this weekend…

You and tons of others is why we are crazy busy this coming weekend. I don’t mind being busy, in fact I like it, just be patient if you have to stand in line.

When I worked in at the Palo Alto Macy, I will never forget this one customer. It was before Covid, when Black Friday truly was on day only. I could tell by the customers facial expressions she was upset, even before she spoke. Sure enough as soon as I started to ring her up, she unleashed a tirade, who she had to stand in line for 20 minutes and it was totally unacceptable. She bought 2 pairs of socks for $5.99 that was not on sale and did not qualify for a coupon. I just quietly rang her, up and suppressed my urge to point out, perhaps the busiest shopping day of the year was not the best time to buy socks.
