We know coyotes are all around us, but this serves as a good reminder to watch your pets if they’re outside, and watch their food.
A Claycordian named Jim recently sent us a great video, which was taken the other day of a coyote eating their cat’s food in the Clayton Valley Highlands neighborhood (State Streets).
Thanks Jim!
Dog nor cat food should ever be left out at night. We always bring ours in around 6ish and put it back around 7 a.m. All you do when you leave it out is invite coyotes, raccoons and rats into your yard.
Leaving food outside is always a bad idea. Coyote will probably wind up eating the cat too.
And eating the cat will probably sound the same.
LOL LOL LOL , you got that right,
LOL LOL LOL, yep
Cat & dog food left out attracts rats too
Big time RATS!!
And skunks.
next it is going to eat your cat
and there are never one
Was that Acme cat food?
I guess the roadrunner is still too fast.
I have a question. Have wildlife specialists noticed, this season, more wild creatures coming down here from the Mt. Diablo State Park region, and surrounding areas, to find food and places to hide from the cold wet weather or to give birth under porches and foundations of buildngs? I’m curious.
A Coyote from Springfield, Ohio ? ? ?
That’s funny. I’ve had trouble getting cats to eat cat food.
