You might have noticed a little activity at the old Kmart building on Clayton Rd. in Concord.
It’s not a big deal, Spirit Halloween is only using the building to do inventory, and they’re moving stuff in and out.

Both Target and Walmart sell groceries, and there’s already a grocery store in that center, so another grocer isn’t allowed.

The Concord City Council won’t allow Walmart to open a store in Concord. Walmart has attempted to open a store in Concord several times over the last 30-35 years.
Hmmmm, maybe a Halloween and Christmas Spirit store?

Huge place but pending on the counsels decisions on subdividing lots (ADU, appts) then may need another resource (Target, Walmart, Safeway) I am not a fan here whatsoever.
Indoor bocce, corn whole, tables for food stands. There is one in Walnut Creek. Just a suggestion.
