For anyone with eyes to the skies, Jupiter will be making a grand appearance this weekend:

Anyone know why both walnut creek habit burger are closed tonight?

They have a habit of doing that.
I doubt the health dept. had anything to do with it.

Don’t forget to “Stuff the Cruiser” tomorrow at Target!

Neanderthals? Really? Just to try to stay warm while reducing electrical costs?

Oh I better clarify as I misspoke after reading your comment what do wood burning fireplaces have to do with the electrical cost? Natural gas is so inexpensive right now I can keep our house at 80° if I want and it doesn’t cost hardly anything.

For those who like Christmas music performed by those classic rock artists we grew up with (70s, 80s, maybe 90s), I have a few suggestions:
Twisted Sister has a whole album, Leslie West (Mountain) does an awesome version of Silent Night, Joe Perry (Aerosmith) does White Christmas and Blue Christmas, Rob Halford (Judas Priest) does a great O’ Holy Night, and so many more.

Live and learn the hard way.

Son down in Texas went into his bank and withdrew cash.

Made a stop at one of his businesses for less than 4 minutes.

Had put money in glove compartment and left truck unlocked.

Rules,
if teller talks loudly when counting out your money, tell her to lower her voice and if raising money up that other customers can see it demand it be kept low.
.
Watch for ‘customers’ loitering in bank, does one follow you out?

DO NOT stash money before leaving bank parking space, you may being watched.

When driving home USE your mirrors, make extra turns and check for a tail.
.
Police served bank with warrant for their video.

Just got reply text from him, as I’m doing my usual one finger keyboard pecking. using video, they got the guy.
.
And in TEXAS he will be doing time in jail,
unlike criminal coddling we have to put up with
in CA and CoCo county.

From the Atticus Thraxx ‘People We should Make A Bigger Deal About Dept’:

I bring you the Belgium born Aubrey Hepburn,
Born in 1928 and passed in 1993.
Survived (lower case on purpose “nazi” occupation)
I hate nazis with every fiber of my being..
But this ain’t about me.
Trained in ballet and choral musical theater.
Like hardcore trained.
Starred alongside serial LSD imbibing
Gregory Peck In Roman Holidays in 1953
and blowing the world’s mind.
My young dad’s included.
Held her own against and arguably putting aside,
Bogart, Grant and Holden.
Carving out a movie career for the ages.
Epitomized grace and dignity.
Without all the angst.

I love Audrey Hepburn. I saw Roman Holiday when I was about 10 or so, the first English speaking movie I saw. Have been a fan of Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck ever since. I even got my hair cut like she did in the movie. Very unusual for someone living in the country in Denmark in the fifties. I cut a picture of a magazine, and asked my mother to take me to the local hair salon so I could get the Hepburn cut.

Anyone else feel it?

fire wood burning in chimneys should be illegal in california. put on an extra layer

I liked Lucky Stores until they became part of Albertson’s.
I liked Safeway Stores until they became part of Albertson’s.
But the thought of Albertson’s becoming part of Kroger seemed like a great way for Kroger to lock down the market, reduce competition, and raise prices. So, I am very happy that deal fell through!
