I’ve been building hot rods and fast cars since I was a teenager. Parts can be
expensive, and sometimes they can be hard to find, so I take my time and
spend a couple of years on a project. My last project was a 1972 Corvette,
I made a lot of modifications and upgraded a lot of parts, including the brakes
and suspension to handle the power of the 2009 Corvette engine I installed.
After I had it painted, I gave it to my granddaughter as a graduation present.
Now I’m working on another Corvette, and I’ve been looking for an all original
1940 Ford coup that’s never been modified, so I can restore it to its original
beauty. My dream car is a 1969 Mustang MACH I, but I don’t know if I will
ever make that dream come true because they are very expensive.
In poor condition, the MACH I can cost somewhere in the neighborhood
of $10,000, and $25,000 in fair condition. But once restored, they can be
sold for over $65,000.

Dawg – good luck finding a ’40 Ford not all cut up … I gave up on that one years ago – if you find one now I’m sure it will be big bucks
