Shooter could have been denied a claim, or an ex-employee whose position was outsourced to foreign workers. UHC is known for this type of behavior.
I don’t condone it but I get it
Based on piece in Daily Mail can see why people would be upset with him.
Then there’s an unproven possibility he might have been cooperating with FEDs.

Dr.Richard Kimbell might something of this ?
Sounds like a hired hit.
if it was a hired hit they were amateur as the suppressor on the pistol did not have a booster so the gun would not cycle. https://x.com/red_pill_us/status/1864382596270182559?s=51
Given the huge take-aways of insurance by UHC the last few years of telecom employees – I say it was a declined or disgruntled policy holder or previous policy holder or someone denied coverage. Heard he was shot in the chest & back and left on a Rideshare bike.
Going to start seeing a lot more of this type of stuff with disgruntled people
Twelve years ago I had a major emergency surgery while out of state. United Health Care was my medical insurer, which I had through work. I had four nights in ICU and ten nights overall in the hospital. My coverage was excellent with claims paid promptly and very few adjustments resulting in out of pocket expense to me. Had I not had insurance, my total bill would have been over $500K. I appreciate the good coverage and good service from this insurer.
My condolences to the family and colleagues of Mr. Thompson.
