A Wind Advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Thursday. Strong southerly winds gusting to 45 mph will result in difficult driving conditions. When combined with the heavy rain, tree damage and related impacts are expected, according to the National Weather Service.
Additionally, the weather service says confidence is high for heavy rainfall to begin impacting the North Bay between early tomorrow morning and Friday. Expect 3″-6″ in the North Bay with 6″-8″ (10″ locally) at higher elevations by late Friday.
Can’t wait for all the ding dongs to think this week-end is a great time to head to Tahoe then complain when they are stuck on the road because of slow going due to heavy snow or the passes are closed.
Honestly, for your safety and the safety of your family/friends, stay home
Very wise advice.
