The flood control channel at Willow Pass Rd. under hwy.242 in Concord is flooded with trash, which will eventually find its way into our local waterways.
It should not be acceptable. However, our governent spends our resources on things I would not. I would shutdown the homeless camps immediately after discovering them as I beleive they are a primary contributor to th e garbage in our channels. I would also go after illegal dumping and unregistered vehicles.
But then again, with our current woke government, cleanliness and law abiding citizens are not a priority.

in the last picture, the dirt area to the left has been one of the largest homeless encampments in all of Concord. You connect the dots on where the garbage came from.

It is disgusting. And it is not acceptable. But there’s no one to deal with it. And zero consequences.

You should see the Concord Ave side. It mysteriously started to get cleaned up about a week ago. Looks like Gavin’s push to “clean up this filth” must be working as he starts to get things together for his 2028 presidential push.

It is not acceptable but until the homeless problem is properly addressed (not an expert on how) it will be there along with the trash in Walnut/Pacheco creek. The majority seems to be from homeless camping and will all wash down to the straights then into the bay. Could always use work detail to clean until the problem is figured out but just a Band-aid.
