The Willows Shopping Center on Diamond Blvd. in Concord will soon be getting 3 new tenants in the soon-to-be remodeled area between Eureka! and the UFC Gym.
ColdStone Ice Cream, Fish Grill and Mendocino Farms have signed leases, and will move in once the remodel is complete.
As we previously reported, Airport Home Appliance will also move into the center, where Cost Plus was located.
OK, you made me look! I wouldn’t mind having a Fish Grill in my neighborhood!
imho – not sure Mendocino Farms will make it there… high priced for mediocre food …. some kind of odd Fish Grill should be a great add … looking forward to that!
I’ll be honest, I do not care for ice cream, so do not care about Cold Stone. I looked at the menu for Fish Grill (assuming it is California Fish Grill) and was unimpressed, and that was without seeing the prices. But, I do hope these businesses are able to rise above all the challenges (regulatory, inflationary, rent costs) and thrive beyond all dreams. And I hope all of you anticipating these joints, enjoy their fares to your hearts’ content.
Keep reading story after story about restaurants struggling and failing so I wonder how these three think they’ll buck the trend. Not saying it can’t happen but I’m not putting my money on it.
Doesn’t Cold Stone have a reputation of being shut down by Health Inspectors (PH and the one that used to be in Clayton)
