Meet Walnut Creek Police K9 “Lucky.”.
Lucky will specialize in finding explosives as a part of the Bomb Squad, but you will also see her around town on patrol with K9 Officer Dehl.
Lucky, just like most of the Bomb Squad resources, was paid for using federal grant funding and will be a great addition to the department.
Please don’t hesitate to say hello to K9 Lucky and K9 Officer Dehl if you see them around town.

I had a black lab when I was a youngster.
He wasn’t a bomb sniffer, he was more of a bum sniffer.
but a wonderful, lovable dog all the same.
