An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for portions of the Bay Area (including Contra Costa County) and the Central Coast through 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. The City of San Francisco has been added to the Excessive Heat Warning on Tuesday beginning at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. A Heat Advisory will remain in effect for the city of San Francisco from 8 p.m. Tuesday through 11 p.m. Wednesday.
