When my ex husband and I first moved to San Francisco, we rented an apartment close to Fistherman’s Warf. So many tourists obviously did not know about the fog in the summer, they were light sweaters, and were freezing.
The older neighborhoods have the best weather.
San Francisco’s early settlers settled where the
weather was the nicest. That would be the Mission,
and Bay View districts. I grew up in the Bay View
when it was mostly Italians and Maltese, it was always
sunny and warm except in the winter when it would rain.
