ConFire and Cal Fire are responding to a vegetation fire burning on a hillside near Willow Pass Rd and SR4, in Concord. Smoke is visible from a distance.
Update: Third alarm called, for structure protection.
Update: Now 5 acres. Second alarm for the vegetation fire called.
We live about 4 miles from the fire, off of Willow Pass.
We were on our way up to the Gun Range and turned around and came home.
Looks like they are getting it under control.
