Strong winds are possible Wednesday and Thursday in the Bay Area. Northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected, with gusts to 40 to 50 mph possible, especially along the Pacific coast, East Bay Hills, Salinas Valley, and Santa Lucia Mountains.
